More Companies Named with Spitzer Adware Risk

(Note to readers: sorry we haven't posted anything for so long. We all had a big project in our day jobs at MetroGuide and couldn't break free).
As they say, "follow the money." And by following the money trail, the Internet Stock Blog has released an updated analysis of companies that use so called "adware" and therefore might be exposed to risk of being brought to justice by SPN's new, unlikely Hero, Eliot Spitzer. We weren't surprised to see Internet pirates like Yahoo!/Overture on the original list, but were surprised to see "do no evil" Google as having adware exposure as well (full disclosure: we love Google and participate in their adsense program).
Perhaps it will finally be the combination of legal pressure from Spitzer and financial pressure from Wall Street that will start to turn the tide against the scourge of spyware/adware. We can only hope.
